Hi can anyone please let me know the tentative value of the RFB resistor inside DAC8811?


also the Absolute max ratings mention appear to be confusing. For example Reference voltage is mentioned as +/-25v but along side its written RFB to gnd is it referring tp pin 4 or pin 3?

    Hi Siddharth,

    Thank you for your query. The value of the RFB resistor is 10K +/- 25%. Please note that it is matched only to the internal resistors. It may not be a good idea to use another resistor in series with RFB to increase the gain - it will not be accurate. We would recommend using a separate gain stage following the transimpedance output stage.

    Thank you for reporting a typo in the Abs max table. You are right that it should be VREF to GND. We will take care of this in the next revision of the datasheet.
