ADS8681EVM-PDK: EVM GUI not recognizing module or installing correctly

Hi,

I tried to install the GUI Software for the EVM board and was unable to get it installed correctly. I followed the step by step process of the wizard, but then got this error:

I decided to go along and see if the software worked because it did install into a folder on my C: drive, and upon opening I got another error, even though the board was plugged in and the lights were flashing: 

I am unsure which error is the true problem, probably the initial install problem but after downloading the installer multiple times and reinstalling I get the same error. Any help is appreciated.

I am using Windows 10 x64
