ADS8681: 4-20 mA input

Hi All,

I'm using the ADS8681 for my industrial analog and digital I/O module.

It's possible to use this IC to convert a 4-20 mA input? I set up a resistor of 500 ohm to ground on AIN_P. Can be the right way?

Thanks for your query on E2E. Absolutely you can use ADS8681 for 4-20mA signal acquisition. We have some released TI Designs that introduce the solution for voltage (Max. ±12.288 V) and current (0~24mA) signal based on ADS8681:
