ADS8688: Analog input bandwidth

Part Number: ADS8688

Hi all, I am currently using an ADS8688 ADC chip. I shave some questions about its analog input bandwidth.

I put a square wave as the analog input. The square wave was in 10kHz, and the duty cycle was 10%. Therefore, the time duration of the high level is ~10us.

The supporting circuit of the ADC is provided by a separate company called Connecttech (http://connecttech.com/product/mini-pcie-adc/

I used National Instrument USB-6356 (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/209075) as the wave generator and the reference DAQ. The connection is drawn here:

The comparison between the NI USB-6356 DAQ (please ignore the time shift)

Seems like the response of ADS8688 is quite slow. I am not sure if it is as expected, or I did something wrong.

I also noticed that the IC has a 2nd order LPF connected to each analog input channel. Is it the reason of the IC's slow response?

Thank you in advance!
