Hi,

How to activate the Trigger Option in High Speed Data Converter Pro ver. 4.80?

I use ADC12DJ3200EVM rev.A + TSW14J57EVM rev. E.

The initial ADC12DJ3200EVM firmware for the TSW14J57EVM Rev E does not support trigger mode.
Our firmware team has been working to add feature. Let me check in with them and respond tomorrow with more information.

I should be able to provide something that will enable Trigger Mode with your setup tomorrow.

Please let me know which ADC12DJ3200 JMODE you are using.

Also make sure you are using High Speed Data Converter Pro v4.80. The solution involves a patch that adds some files to that specific version of software.

Hi Vladimir

Ensure High Speed Data Converter Pro is not running and then install the following patch for v4.80:

/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/73/3343.HSDC-Pro-Patch-v4.80.02.zip

The file ADC12DJxx00_JMODE2_trig.ini has been added to the folder location below:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro\14J57revE Details\ADC files

Several other supporting files will also be added.

In the Select ADC field choose "ADC12DJxx00_JMODE2_trig".

If this works for JMODE2, then you can create a new file ADC12DJxx00_JMODE0_trig.ini by comparing the existing ADC12DJxx00_JMODE0.ini file with the new JMODE2 file mentioned above and editing/adding as follows:

Interface name must be changed to TSW14J57revE_BRAM_RxOnly_16L_trig_FIRMWARE
The following parameter needs to be added - Menu Enable="Trigger Option"
The following five trigger related parameters need to be added –

Trigger Input Polarity Selection = 1

Trigger Output Default State = 0

Trigger Output Pulse Width = 40

Sysref Based Master Slave Trigger = 0

Is Capture Trigger SMA = 1
