TSW1406EVM: TSW1406EVM vs TSW1400EVM

Hello,

I am currently using the TSW1400EVM board attached to our DAC board. We were looking into downsizing to the 1406 board due to project reasons and for the fact that we don't use 90% of the components on the 1400 board. The only problem we will encounter is the memory loss by downgrading to the 1406. Is there any way to buy the 1406 board with the 512M 16-bit memory depth instead of the 64K 16-bit memory depth? This would be very beneficial to our application!

Billy,

There is no external memory on the TSW1406EVM. The board was designed to be a cheaper version of the TSW1400EVM, so the only memory available is internal to the FPGA, which is 64K.

Also, do you have the design files for the DAC34SH84evm? I only see the design files for the DAC34H8Xevm.

Still requesting a detailed pin layout for the TSW1406EVM board. I have the TSW1406_B_LYR.pdf file but it is extremely difficult to see how the pins are mapped

and where the pin traces go. If someone could provide this for me Id appreciate it. Thanks.

Jim, I have that schematic. I was looking for a detailed pin layout with the traces like above. It is hard to see where the pins are mapped to and where the traces are going.
