ADC128S102: Power supply design

Hi,

I am designing a circuit with the ADC128S102 where the VA supply is 5V and VD is 3.3V. Is it ok to switch off the VD while keeping the VA on for extended periods of time? Will it have effect on the long term reliability and performance of the device.

The datasheet states in several places that the VA and VD can be supplied independently. And switching OFF and ON the VD does not violate the recommended power sequencing. But I want to be sure that switching the Digital supply VD OFF and ON will not damage the device.
