ADC12DJ3200: Junction Temperature & De-rating

As per attached ADC12DJ3200 datasheet, page-9 says absolute operating junction temperature is 150 deg C. And page-10 says recommended operating junction temperature is 105 deg C and tested condition is 125 degC with note 6 and 7.

Clarification:

1. Whether recommended operating junction temperature(105) provided in data sheet is a de-rated value, that is customer cant take this value for analysis without further de-rating

2. What will happen to device if the junction temperature is at 125 deg C in continuous operation mode?

1) The device can be operated at 105C junction temperature continuously. The corresponding ambient or board temperature is dependent on the thermal characteristics of each customer system.

2) As mentioned in note 6 on page 10. If the device is operated at 125C junction temperature continuously the reliability will go down and failure-in-time (FIT) rate will go up. The FIT Rate is provided at a link in the Quality & packaging sub-tab of the ADC12DJ3200 product folder.
