ADS42JB69: circuit model

Part Number: ADS42JB69

I am trying to use the load impedance of the differential input lines of this part in a Keysight ADS simulation. What would be the best way to set this up? I see no convenient circuit model is given, like other TI device datasheets have. Thanks.

Hi Niral

I've checked and there aren't any additional model details available for the analog inputs of this device. The only information I have found is that in Section 10.2.2.1 of the datasheet.

I recommend you utilize one of the input matching networks shown in Figure 114 and 115 as needed for your particular signal frequency case.

Thank you for the reply. How would you recommend I model the differential load in ADS so that I can appropriately model my circuit?

Hi Niral

I recommend the following:

1) From Figure 112 generate a curve fitting equation for the resistance as a function of frequency.

2) Using that equation create a frequency dependent impedance value in ADS. I have not done this myself, but found this discussion on-line that looks like it does what you need.
