Hi

how bipolar output is generated in DAC?

I work with DAC8734 and it works perfectly, while the output is unipolar (UNI / BIP-A connects to Iovdd) but when the output is bipolar (UNI / BIP-A connects to GND), this output is minimal, I annex the diagram off the circuit.

The parameters are:

Iovdd=3.3v

Avss=-12v

Avdd=+12v

Vref=2.425

    Hi Eduardo,

    Welcome to E2E and thank you for your query. What code are you writing to the DAC, ZERO and GAIN registers? You can check whether the equations 1 and 2 on page 20 of the datasheet satisfy or not in both unipolar and bipolar conditions.
