What does the 'B' indicate in "ADS7844N vs. ADS7844NB" ?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS7844

Distributors seems to be short of a part which we use:

ADS7844N & ADS7844N/1K

But I see some available stock for these parts:

ADS7844NB & ADS7844NB/1K

I've reviewed the latest datasheet for the part but I can not figure out what the "B" suffix indicates so that I can determine if the parts would be usable in our designs.

Hi Gary,

Take a look at pages 2-4 of the ADS7844 datasheet. The 'B' version has better linearity, offset, drift, etc. specifications compared to the non B device. The 'N' designates the package (SSOP-20), so the NB part will work for you and will have slightly improved performance in your system.
