TSW14J56EVM: Laptop takes too long ( ~ 2 min) to detect the TSW14J56 board

Hi Aravind,

After you connect the USB to the TSW14J56EVM, and then launch HSDC Pro, a dialog box pops up stating what capture cards (ex. TSW14J56EVM) are available to connect to.

Is this the portion that is taking two minutes?

Yes. I have a Windows 7 laptop as well. It takes like 2 seconds in it. Hence my question. 

Its a Rev D board - T827GBbp

Do you have any updates on this issue. Not that it limits my working with the board in anyways, but its inconvenient having to to wait that long every time I connect the board whereas in Win 7 it connects in no time.

Can you try manually uninstalling the Cypress USB3.0 drivers then uninstall HSDC Pro GUI, then re-install HSDC Pro. Also, make sure you are not using any type of USB hubs. These have been know to cause issues wit this interface. What type of machine are you using? Does it have a USB3.0 port? If so, have you tried this port?
