Dear TI Support team

We would like to build a proof of concept based on the AD9172-FMC-EBZ
We have developed boards based on Arria 10 Intel FPGA and Stratix 10 Intel FPGA with FC interfaces. We need to simulate the implementation of the FMC module on our Product.

I need to have the STEP files to make a mechanical simulation in 3D AutoCAD software

I don't have a STEP format file for the entire ADC12DJ3200EVM. A STEP model of the device itself is available here:

The files below are what we have available for the 3D physical details of the board:

It should be possible to import these into the design tool you are using to provide the needed information.

Thanks for your quick reply, if i am right the DXF is a 2D plane, it can not be used to check for conflicts in 3D.
I'm afraid that without this data, we will have to do the work by hand by projecting 2D on CAD and finally check the component heights. potential error during the work 2D to 3D and long work, time.

Do you think it is possible to have the STEP of the module from TI or this is something not possible

DXF format by itself is 2D only.
The additional IDF (Intermediate Data Format) files with .bdf and .ldf suffix add information which enables a 3D representation.
The Cadence tool this board was developed in does not support export to STEP format.
