Dear Sir,

What is Total Capacitance in EVM GUI?? 

According to me Total Capacitance is Board capacitance  which is 53pF in default. 

And how will i reduce that board capacitance to Zero capacitance??

    Hi Kruthi,

    The Total Capacitance column is the total capacitance of a given channel, including the fixed capacitor in the LC tank, the capacitance of the sensor, and any parasitic capacitances along the INxA and INxB signals. The Sensor Capacitance column is simply the Total Capacitance minus the known value of the 33pF capacitor in the LC tank.

    There is no way to reduce the board capacitance to 0 because you need a fixed capacitor for the LC tank to oscillate and you will always have parasitic capacitances.
