You say it can provide clock for 7 other ads1298 so would it work? Should I use a buffer or is one internal?
I am designing the circuit board to link the ads1298 modules I made.
I would prefer to not use a buffer if it would relyably work if it would not then what buffer would you sugjest?
Josh,
The ADS1298 is a low power chip and not designed to drive large loads, so an external buffer is preferred. For this, I recommend building a prototype with a buffer bypass option, using a standard LVC type buffer, to see if the performance is good enough.
