Unfortunately we are unable to support the LabVIEW code anymore. You can use the Sensing Solutions GUI to do your initial EVM evaluation. Please let us know if you have more questions!

How do I run your EVM with another software so we can integrate the unit with our existing software/hardware? Can you please send me the details of programming format, command examples, troubleshooting (if any)?

Vijay,

If you wish to control the FDC2214 with your own system, you can break off the MSP430 part of the board and directly connect the FDC2214 to your system. You will need:

- Connect I2C lines to your MCU
- Supply power and ground
- Keep SD pin grounded to keep the device out of shutdown mode
- Connect INTB to your MCU if you need to use the interrupt function.

The I2C protocol is described in the datasheet. You can work out the register settings you want by first using the GUI, then you can program your MCU to set these registers in your application.
