ADC32RF45EVM: HSDC Pro Capture and analysis Window difference

I have set the capture window as 65536 and analysis window as 4096 ( continuous capture off) while capturing two channel data from ADC32RF45EVM using a TSW14J56EVM. In this case when I press the capture button the FFT displayed is a 4096 point FFT. But there are 16 blocks of 4096 samples in the 65536 block of data captured. So is the 4096 point FFT that is displayed on the screen an average of all the 4096 point FFTs from the block of 65536 samples? This is not clear from the GUI user guide.

Same question regarding the case when continuous capture is ON.

The number enter in the number of captures option must be equal or greater than the number entered in the analysis window.

I understand that part.

What I am asking is - In the scenario I have mentioned above, I am capturing 65536 samples and using only 4096 samples of it for analysis?

If yes, which 4096 samples of the captured 65536 samples am I using in it? The first 4096, the last 4096 or something else? This part is unclear.

If other samples are discarded, I would think that it is futile to keep the capture window larger than the analysis window if some samples are not going to be used at all. That is my point.
