ADS1115: Storage Range fro ADS1115

Hello,

I have a customer with the following question;

“ADS1115 are currently only rated to -60C, but my hope is that testing or manufacturing techniques have advanced without being reflected in the datasheet. Has this part been tested down to -65C storage? Or are there alternatives with the same properties but an extended storage range?”

Are you able to provide any input about that to pass along to the customer?

Jim,

The storage temperature rating is based on a test that we do in qualification of our devices. Storage temperature is based on temperature cycle test where the device is subjected to alternating cycles of high and low temperatures. It's possible that the device could withstand higher or lower temperatures, but devices were run to a particular standard test.

I've checked on a couple of our similar ADCs, but I wasn't able to find anything with a storage temp down to -65°C.
