ADS127L01: Delay Time for New Data to be Ready

Part Number: ADS127L01

Hi,

In frame-sync interface mode, "the delay time for new data to be ready" is mentioned on page 39 of ADS127L01 data sheet, so that td(NDR) is 84 x tDATA if using ADS127L01 with the wideband filters.
The minimum and maximum value aren't mentioned in the data sheet, but it will be synchronous operation, so is td(NDR) fixed with 84 x tDATA ?
Or it will be asynchronous operation, so is td(NDR) within (84 +/-1) x tDATA ?

Best regards,
Kato

  • Hello Kato-san,

    Thank you for your post.

The delay time for new data with the wideband filters should always be 84 conversions from the time that the mode change is recognized. This is true for both the synchronous and asynchronous interface. The delay through the digital filter will be the same number of conversions for both.

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Ryan-san,

    Thank you for the comment.

I understood that Td(NDR) should always be 84 conversions regardless of the synchronous and asynchronous interface, so I will inform the information to our customer.

    Best regards,
    Kato
