ADS1148EVM-PDK connection problems

Hello,

 

I am just trying to run my MMB3 (ADS1248EVM-PDK) with ADS1248.

My problem was at first the same like described at http://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/precision_data_converters/f/73/t/37155.aspx?PageIndex=2

I installed the Software which was delivered with the Eval-Board.My board would not Download the firmware such as described in the link above.

 After looking at the comments i decided to look at the main page from the Eval-Board (http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/ads1248evm-pdk.html) for updates.

I saw a new update  (from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1). So I Updated the Plugin Version from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 .

Afterwards I had trouble to connect my MMB3 with USB to my Computer.

I tried to reinstall the driver by plugin in the USB and deinstalled the driver on the device manager. Afterwards I replugged the USB  to install with the on-board driver and i also tried to download the USB driver for TUSB3410 direct on the TI site. But the problem does still occur . He want a file called umpusbvista.sys and i dont know why and where the file is located on my pc. I search on google and found a file. But after i showed him the location from this file he ask me for another file. So its an never ending story.

Could some one help me to solve this problem?

    Patrick,

    You must only use the TUSB driver that is contained in the 1.1.1 plugin.  The TUSB driver will uninstall when you first run the plugin if it was installed previously.  You need to install the plugin a second time so that the correct driver files are installed.

    So, you cannot uninstall the drivers from device manager.  When you plug in the USB cable it will reinstall the old drivers.  They must be uninstalled by using the TUSB setup program which is contained in the plugin.  Also, the installation must take place before you plug in in the USB cable.
