CCS/ADS1299EEGFE-PDK: Work With The ADS1299EEG

Part Number: ADS1299EEGFE-PDK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1299

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

We Bought,The ADS1299EEG Evaluation board ,for developing a new product.

I Downloaded The Source Code Of The Evealuation Board From Your Site,And Also Install The "Code Composser Studio" .

I Have No Abbility To Debug The Code On The Evealuation Board (MMB0)

Do You Have Any Working Code That I Can Take And RUN On The Evaluation Board.

Before We Create Our Own Board I Must Check That, I Can Change A Few Things On The ADC Samplig Rate .

Thx,

Gabi ERM

  • Hello Gabi,

Unfortunately the only available code is located on the product page for either the device itself or the EVM.

What are you trying to test?
  • Hi Alex, We Must Have The Ability To Change The Code That Works With The "ADS1299EEG", For Checking That It Reaching all off our requests before we developing our own board.

    For Example ,
Change The Sampling Rate OF The ADC,
Sending Live Data Via USB Connection .
    Change Filters Values.
    And So On.

    Thx,
    Gabi
  • Hi Gabi,

You should be able to test most of the device functionality within the EVM GUI.

Have you downloaded both the Firmware source code and software source code from the product page? The GUI looks like below:

  • Hi,
Yes I did , but like I said before I must have the ability to change the code,
For checking issues that relevant to our design ,
    For example ,
Sending live data via usb ,

    Thx,
    Gabi
  • Hello Gabi,

Thank you for your interest in our ADS1299.

Our team cannot support changes to the firmware or EVM GUI source code. Others have managed to import the projects into their own working environment and use it as a basis for their own applications. However, as this project was completed several years ago, it may be more difficult than it's worth.

All of the device's performance capabilities and functionality should be available to you with the EVM as it is today, including all ADC register settings.

Regarding the live data requirement, our EVM does not support continuous data streaming. We collect a number of contiguous data points for analysis only. Raw data from the EVM can also be saved to a text file if you wish to apply your own post-processing algorithms.

I hope that you'll continue to use our EVM as the basis for your evaluation of the ADS1299 in your application. Please let us know if you have specific questions about the EVM or the ADS1299 itself.

    Best Regards,
