  • Hello Wenqing,

    Welcome to TI E2E forum!

The below issue occurs when the HMC DAQ GUI is unable to communicate with HSDC Pro through back channel because of the firmware not being downloaded properly into TSW1400.

    Can you provide the following?

    1. Any error message that you noticed while downloading the firmware in HSDC Pro.
    2. Do you see the Interface name “ADC_FIRMWARE” at the bottom of the HSDC Pro GUI screen?
    3. Screenshots of the HSDC Pro GUI
  • Hello Praveen,

  • Hello Wenqing,

    We have a few questions.

    • What is the Current limit from the supply?
    • Did you try downloading the firmware separately from the menu? Instrument Options -> Download Firmware -> Select "ADC_FIRMWARE.rbf"
    • Were you able to see the “Downloading Firmware” Prompt similar to below image,

    • Can you provide a screen shot of the status log after double clicking the status bar to check for any errors after selecting the device?

  • Hi Wenqing,

I haven’t heard back from you, I’m assuming you were able to resolve your issue and so I am closing this post.
If you have any questions, just post a reply below.
  • Hi Praveen,

I have been on holiday for several weeks, sorry for the late reply!
The problem has been solved after my return. I checked the current limit of the power supply according to your suggestion and raised it from 2.8 to 4 A, the HW works since then. I have noticed the current has reached almost 3 A shortly during initialization and then stays around 2.2 A. Thank you very much for your support!

    Best regards
    Wenqing
