FDC2214: How to improve the sensitivity of FDC2214

Hi, I use FDC2214 to detect rainwater, but digital data change within 10. While I use hand to give pressure, the digital data change with 10000. So how can I improve FDC2214 sensitivity to water? The board I used is FDC2214EVM.

Hello DuoDuo,

The sensitivity is a function of the sensor size, the device configuration, and the target characteristics. The reason that you are getting a smaller signal from the rainwater is probably because the rainwater is a much smaller target than your hand.

Can you provide a picture of your configuration?
