ADS4149: Annotation in terms of latency in datasheet

Hi team,

My customer will use ADS4149 for his project and provided a question.

In datasheet p.17 ADC latency, annotation (4) shows "At higher frequencies, tPDI is greater than one clock period and overall latency = ADC latency + 1"

What does this "at higher frequency" mean?

At sampling frequencies > 166MSPS, tPDI is greater than one clock period and overall latency = ADC latency + 1’.
