Can I run the ADS7809 converter without having to pulse the read/convert pin?

I am pin-limited on the board connector and can't bring a line to control the read/convert pin.

    Hi Kenneth,

    There is no input command (no SDI) on the ADS7809 that can start the conversion cycle. If the ADS7809 is the only device on your SPI bus, you could tie /CS low and pulse R/C. Tell us more about your system (a mocked up schematic maybe?) and perhaps we can find a creative way to help you gain pin functionality to control that pesky R/C input.
