ADS8688: ADS8688 Fail link with NB

Hi Alex,
Welcome to E2E forum.
Can you please check if you have two SD cards on the bottom side of EVM and SDCC? these two SD cards should not be mixed to use, also please check if there are LEDs flashing on SDCC board(smaller card in PDK ) after the SDCC is connected to the EVM on J1 connector and plugged into NB by USB cable.

Hi Alex,

When you plug in the USB cable, the GUI will talk to SDCC also the GUI/SDCC will verify the information saved in the SD card on the bottom side of EVM. I just tried to connect SDCC only to the laptop, I got same error information as you which was reported by the GUI, so suggest you to connect both EVM and SDCC together, then plug into the USB port.

I only apply the 5V Power for J32 in ADS86XX EVM,alright?

Hi Alex,

To connect the EVM to laptop with the GUI, the external 5-V DC power supply on J32 is not needed, this external power supply is only used to generate high voltage supplies(HVDD and HVSS) for buffers U4 and U5 on RVM board.

Just confirm:   Are you using ADS86xxEVM with SDCC? Are you using ADS86XX EVM GUI downloaded from TI.com? Is the OS on your laptop Win 10?
