PGA450Q1EVM: TESTO_A/D

Part Number: PGA450Q1EVM

Hello,

I have a question about 11.2 Monitoring the Signal Path of PGA450Q1EVM User's Guide(SLDU007C).

[Q]

(a) DACO pin = TESTO_A ?
I have read the following sentences at User's Guide(SLDU007C), p20, 11.2 Monitoring Signal Path.
The signal is viewable on the DACO pin.

(b)My understanding is below. Is it correct?

<Figure. 16>
Channel1 = TESTO_A
Channel2 = TESTO_D

<Figure. 17>
Channel1 = TESTO_D
Channel2 = TESTO_A

  • Hi Kudo,

    (a) Yes, DACO = TESTO_A.

    (b)
    Figure 16:
    • CH1=DACO is in Amplifier Output (unfiltered) mode.
    • CH2 is measured directly at the transducer's positive terminal (hence, 150Vpp).
    Figure 17:
    • CH1 =measured directly at the transducer's positive terminal (hence, 150Vpp).
    • CH2 = DACO is in Amplifier Output (unfiltered) mode.
    TESTO_D is not probed in either case.
    See section "7.6.3.1 ANALOG Test MUX Register (offset = 0xE9)" of datasheet on how to manually set the DACO output mode.

  • Hi Akeem-san,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I understood your comment.
