Hi,
We are designing a prototype with the "ADS131E08IPAGR". It has 5 units. 2 are connected in daisy chain mode to a micro by SPI, another 2 in daisy chain to another micro by SPI, and the last one to another micro by SPI. All ot them are managed by the same clock and Start signal.
Our purchasing department has received the following information from our distributor:
Ref. ADS131E08IPAG 28-30 w (Octal Channel Octal ADC Delta-Sigma 64ksps 24-bit Serial 64-Pin TQFP Tube) tube 160 pcs.
Ref. ADS131E08IPAGR 28-30 w (Octal Channel Octal ADC Delta-Sigma 64ksps 24-bit Serial 64-Pin TQFP T/R) 1500 pcs. reel
Ref. ADS131E08SPAG 20-22 w (AFE General Purpose 8ADC 24bit 1.8V/5V 64-Pin TQFP Tube) tube 160 pcs.
Ref. ADS131E08SPAGR 20-22 w (AFE General Purpose 8ADC 24bit 1.8V/5V 64-Pin TQFP T/R) 1500 pcs. reel
For the prototypes, we can get some "ADS131E08SPAG".
According to the datasheet, we have checked that the main differences are startup time, the internal Voltage reference and slight differences in the DC and AC performance data.
We are using internal Voltage reference of the devices, so we think that we are not going to have problems.
Could you confirm please if there is any other difference that could generate problems?
Taking into account the devices time life, delivery times, ... What device would you recommend to use?
Thanks,
Best regards.
Aitor.
