ADS1292ECG-FE: Infos on raw signals and acquisition rate

Hello everyone,

I am working on a project for ecg analysis and I am interested in the ADS1292 ECG Evaluation Board. More precisely, I need the raw signals without any filtering or processing and it seems possible to obtain them from the tab "Save" of the ADS1x9x ECG-FE software. I want to ask if it is possible to acquire with a sample rate higher than 500 SPS. The ADC supports up to 8KSPS but in the software I don't find a way to change that option.

I have read that it is possible to have the labview sources to create custom software, in that case it would be possible to change the sample rate?

Are there any other sources in other languages (Matlab, Java,Phyton)?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum!

"The data will be the raw data that is output from the device. It is filtered by the integrated sinc filter which is common in one way or another to all delta sigma ADCs. You cannot disable the sinc filter. You can still filter the data that has already been filtered by the sinc, though, in case you want to band limit the output further than what is already done by the chip. Details about the sinc filter response can be found in the ADS1292 datasheet."

You can change the sample rate by modifying the oversampling ratio on the registers tab.

Unfortunately we only have sources in labview.
