Hi,

Can ADC34J45EVM connect KCU105 directly by the FMC ? I can not receive the initial data ("bcbcbcbc") to build the JESD sync. I want to make sure if the connection is not good.

Hi,

When I set the FPGA Jesd refclk to 320MHz, I got b7b7b7b7. And When I set the reflck to 640MHz, I got bfbfbfbf. Last time I knew the jest_core_clk is 320MHz for the "ADC3xJxx_160MSPS_Operation_LMK_Setting.cfg". But I do not know what the refclk is? Can you tell me ?

Above description is not right. When I reset the FPGA part, the received data changed. I totally confused.

Yes, the board can directly connect to the KCU105. We have this working with our HSDC Pro GUI. Do you plan on using your own firmware or something provided by TI?

Thank you for your reply.

In the ADC board part, I am using your "ADC3xJxx_160MSPS_Operation_LMK_Setting.cfg" file under the software ADC3000 GUI. In the KCU105 part, I am using the Xilinx's JESD ip core. At the beginning, I wrote the whole sampling very code with JESD core IP and JESD phy IP but it did not work. I check the received data I found I did not get the "BCBCBCBC" to finish the Sync process. I think it may be wrong during the Xilinx's IP configuration. Thus I just used the JESD phy IP to code a experiment system, which is quite simple. But I did not get the data "BCBCBCBC".

Do you mean I can use HSDC Pro GUI to check? And just in case I am wrong, please give me some links from TI.

Hi Jim,

Right now I can use the HSDC Pro GUI. But in the device dropdown menu I did not find the Board ADC34J45EVM. Could you please tell me how to deal with it?

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your ADC file. After I received your file, I did followings:
1, I configured the ADC with "ADC3xJxx_160MSPS_Operation_LMK_Setting.cfg". I opened the output of clk8/9 as your previous guidance.
2, I downloaded the file "KCU105_TI_DHCP.bit" to KCU105.
3, I connected the KCU105 with My PC sucessfully.
4, I selected the right ADC34J45. I set the output data rate to 160M.
It seems everything is fine. But when I I got error like above picture.

Could you please tell me where the error came from possibly?
