ADS1278: Compatible alternative with existing boards design

i'm searching for a cheaper alternative to the ADS1278, the only problem is that the board design is ready so the pins should be compatible.

Hi Johannes,

Welcome to our forum and thank you for your post!

If you require the devices to be pin-for-pin compatible, then your only options would be the ADS1274 or one of the 16-bit variants (ADS1174, ADS1178). Are you using all 8 channels and do you need 24 bits?

Otherwise, we would have to discuss other device alternatives, which would require you to spin the PCB.

thank you for your answer. The 24 bits and the 8 channels are needed and the pin for pin shoud be compatible.

In that case, we do not have an 8-channel, 24-bit device which is pin-for-pin compatible with the ADS1278.
