DAC37J84EVM: DAC37J84EVM configuration with Xilinx FPGA card

Hi,

I would like to test DAC37J84EVM with Xilinx FPGA part no: ZCU102.

Is it possible to connect both cards without Interposer card? If yes, then please check & confirm the below configuration.

1) Connected DAC37J84EVM & FPGA card directly through FMC connectors.

2) Connected external SYNC (single ended) from DAC i.e., J21 - 1 & 3 pins to FPGA J55 - 1& 3 pins. For our end project purpose we need SYNC as Single Ended only.

    Hi Swarup,

    1) You can connect the FMCs directly but this requires that you develop your own firmware. The firmware we have requires you to use TSW14J10 interposer card.

    2) Single ended SYNC is available on J21, pins 1 and 3. This will also require you to develop your own firmware so that you can route the SYNC to any pin on the FPGA
