DAC8760EVM: Software installation problem

Part Number: DAC8760EVM

Hi team,

I need to use DAC8760EVM and have installed the EVM software and Labview run time engine 2015. But when I try to open the EVM software it keeps warning Unable to locate the Labview run time engine, what could be the problem?

My compute OS is windows 10 (64bit).

Hi George,

Does the error message indicate the version of the runtime engine that is missing? The EVM installer should install all of the required dependencies. Perhaps you can post a screenshot of the error.

Yes it requires run time engine 2010 but I have tried install 2010 and the same warning still came up, see below picture:

Could it be that I have installed the wrong version of run time engine 2010?

Do you have detailed instructions for how to install the engine and run the software?

Hi George,

I do not have detailed instructions as the correct version of the runtime engine normally installs when the EVM software is installed. Did you install the following:

http://www.ni.com/download/labview-run-time-engine-2010-sp1/2292/en/

Have you tried reinstalling the EVM software or installing the software on another computer?
