ADS1675REF: What O/S version is supported?

I just bought the ADC1675REF board and tried installing ADCPro (ADCPRO-installer.exe) and the ADS1675REF software (ADS1675REF-SW-installer.exe). During the install of the ADS1675 SW, I got a message saying my O/S, Windows10, is not supported. I saw some mention of WindowsXP support. How about Windows 7 maybe. I have Windows 7 at home. Will this work?

My next step will be modifying the XEM3010 code. Can I get the source?

I don't believe we've ever tested the ADS1675REF on Windows 10, but Windows 7 should work.

Can I send the source code to the email address in your profile?

Ryan,

First of all, does the email I send get to you or is this the only way to contact you? I downloaded the file through the Box account and all the files in the zip were empty.

Hi Glen - you shouldn't have to download it again if you've already grabbed it from Box. Just in case, I've extended your access to the folder. But please use 7-zip with the provided password to extract the files.

The file I got from Box 3 days ago was only 12KB in size and when I tried to open it with 7-zip and the supplied password it still gave me empty files. I tried going back to Box but it won't accept my password or reset my password. Can you try changing the extension on the file to something else and sending it through email again. This works sometimes. Maybe try 'mkv'.

I need to try once more. I still do not have the source code for the ADS1675REF. The Box account never worked. If you must use Box please try to open it under another name or something. Also try emailing the zip with a different extension, like 'bmp'.

Hi Glen,

I spoke with Carolus this morning and we looked into this again. Originally, when you told me that the unzipped folders were empty, I thought you were saying that there were not files in there at all. I realize now that, although it looks like the original file structure is there, the files show a size of 0 KB. If this is what you've been observing this whole time, I apologize for not realizing it sooner.

That all being said, these files appear to have been corrupted and I have yet to find a copy that are not. I'm checking with one other colleague who was involved with this device back when it released it 2008.

The ADCPro plugin for this EVM also has a "fw" folder, which includes the same .bit files but they do not appear corrupted. Of course, we don't include the verilog source here.

Glen - go ahead and download the new .ZIP file I've uploaded to Box. We found another copy that had not been corrupted.

Ryan,

Box will not let me in. I assume that the account was linked to my glenw@ragesystems.com email. I tried this. The password I thought I had did not work. I tried to reset my password (several times over the past three weeks) and Box never sends its password reset email.

Can we set up a new box for glen.wolverton@gmail.com?
