ADS1258 Need help

I suspect your EMG device will be using multiple probes.  The ADS1258 can handle up to 16 channels of data, one at a time, through the internal MUX.  For test and debug purposes, you can certainly tie one signal to all inputs.  If you don't need all 16-channels, you can terminate any unused input to ground.

Yes . I will be using a two channel EMG. I kind of dont understant whats the benefit of using two channels ? What can i do with the two results after I feed them into the MUX? When analyzing the signal would i have to analyze them seperetaly, and then I can display them ? Or do i add the signals together ? I dont get this part, of having two channels, and what to do with the results of the two channels.

Surface EMG uses multi channels - not sure but I suspect they are simultaneous samples rather than multiplexed. 

So you are saying a 2 channel EMG samples the same signal at just different points ? Then the mux just changes between intervals, of each sample. So then the output of the mux is 1 signal that a combination of the other two ? Do I understand this right ?

I suppose that really depends on the application.  You might try a simple Google search for 16-channel EMG and see what you find.
