ADS131A04: how to Get 24 Bit conversion data with a SSTM32 ?

Part Number: ADS131A04
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS131E04

Hi,

that is what I configured :

M0 : IOVDD

M1 : offen

M2 : GND

Register :

0x0b = 0x78

0x0c = 0x32

0x0d = 0x01

0x0e = 0x2c

0x0f = 0x0f

Now I shift out the values with sending 0x0000 , but I get only 16Bit values ...

What is wrong ?

Thanks for your help :-)

  • Hello Roy,

    Thanks for your post.

    I assuming that you're using the ADS131A04, not the ADS131E04? M0, M1, M2 do not exist on the ADS131E04. I've corrected your original post.

    By "offen," do you mean that the M1 pin is floating? M1 = floating will set the device word size to 16 bits. Please read the Pin Functions table on pages 5-6.

    Best Regards,
