Hi team,
My customer wants to use ADS1158. But the gain error of it is a bit high. So they want to one-time external calibration on gain error.
But will gain error be consistent after powering off and on again?

Hello Luke,
It is common for customers to utilize an external gain calibration on the ADS1158 and similar ADC devices. The gain error should remain relatively constant over-time.
Over the full lifetime of a product specifications may exhibit a long-term drift equal to the maximum value. Here's a blog with more information: e2e.ti.com/.../ic-long-term-stability-the-only-constant-is-change
