ADS4126: ADS4126 Serial Interface Issues

Part Number: ADS4126

I used 

[ power on state ] 

OE  = high pull up 4.7k 1.8V

DFS = 1.125 V (R dividing)

Reset = pull up 10K 1.8V ( FPGA Power on to '0' )

Clkp/Clkm = 100 Mhz

SEN =  FPGA Power on to '1' 

SCLK = FPGA Power on to '1' 

SDATA = FPGA Power on to '0' 

[ step 1 ]

Reset  = 1 pulse 200 ns  ( 0 to 1 to 0 : FPGA control )

[ step 2 ]

Serial Data  : 0x4208

Serial Data  : 0x2503

Serial Data  : 0x0001

Serial Data  : 0x2503

Read Serial data : 0x00 ( oscilloscope Check 0 out)

ADC data : 0x10X  (no test pattern 0x10101010 )

Test Pattern or ReadOut functions is not working...

    Shim,

    Did you set the READOUT register bit 0 to a "1" in address 0x00? You must do this for the serial read back. Otherwise the pin will be set to report OVR.

    Also register 42h bit 3 "DIS LOW LATENCY" must also be set to 1 to enable the digital functions including test patterns to function.
