ADC12DJ3200: Over-range bits after decimation

Part Number: ADC12DJ3200

Hello,

I'm curious about what exactly the over-range bits denote after filtering and decimation. I understand they are set when samples are compared against OVR_T0 and OVR_T1. After the original indicators are calculated, how are they handled when going through the FIR and through decimation for JMODE16? How many over-range samples in a filter window trigger an over-range on the output of the filter? How many in the decimation window trigger an over-range indicator on the output of decimation?

What happens to over-range samples before the filter? Are they saturated at the max values, or wrapped around?

Thanks,
Cam
