According to SNAA206 "TI Designs High Speed: Verified Design - Schematic and Layout Recommendations for the GSPS ADC" input capacitors of 220nF are needed when using a TC1-1-13MA+ balun from Mini-Circuits. A 'normal' 0402 capacitor has too much series inductance and will reduce the bandwidth to less then 20MHz. RF capacitors are only available up to 100nF.
