DAC5652AEVM: Configuration and setup for Zedboard and DAC5672evm

Hi,

I have the following configuration:

1) Zed board connected as data source; output = 1MHz 14-bit sine output.

2) TCXO generating 40MHz LVCMOS output as clock reference.

3) DAC5672EVM.

Not getting the sinusoidal output from the DAC5672EVM.

Connection made as per user manual for DAC5672/62/52 14- and 12-Bit Dual Channel DAC EVM (Rev. B).

Please help in debugging!

Guruditya,

This is a CMOS device and both the clock and data must be CMOS levels (2V minimum High-level input volatge, 0.8V Low-level input voltage from GND). You cannot use a sinewave for the data. Your LVCMOS clock amplitude may be to low as well.
