Thanks for your post.
Looks like this has come up before and we did not provide such data (https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters/f/73/p/330406/1151211). This spec is only meant to indicate that if you draw +/- 500 uA from the GPIO pin, then we guarentee a min/max voltag level with respect to DVDD. I would not expect to drive much more current than the 500 uA used in the test conditions. If more current is desired, I recommend bufffering the GPIO output.
