We are testing with AFE5808/08A EVM.

I need a source file and a way to check the contents of the BIN file.

How can I check the initial register value of the AFE5808 / 08A EVM?

How can I check the changed setting values in the AFE5808 / 08A EVM GUI?

The EVM use the FPGA's time sequence and simulation data to control the AFE5808A.
Can I get the materials?

    AFE5808/08AEVM is using TSW1400EVM to capture output data.
    Are you using TSW1400EVM as well?

    How are you?

    Thank you for using AFE5808EVM and TSW1400EVM.

    Here are some examples showing you how to use AFE5808 GUI and TSW1400 GUI

    to run and display the device register and how to capture raw data from the device's LVDS output.

    1) writer register to AFE5808EVM:

    First, please select "Registers Direct Access" page

    and follow step 2, 3, 4 to set the register (for writing register Act_Term_Resistor=> Address=0x34, Data=0x0040),

    then step 5 to write the register

    Then to double check if it is working correctly,

    please go to LNA+VCA_PGA_LPF page,

    then you can see Act_Temp_Register has been modified to be 100 ohms.

    2) check initial registers

    Click on "Add current Address/Data to saving list" button

    and follow the next step 9 and 10

    Go to another page "HARDWARE/POWER/RST"

    and click on "Software Reset" button

    Then you can see all the registers (were selected) all shown on "Saving List" list




    3) check the register changed

    By directly using AFE5808 GUI screen to select and setup the register

    on the "Write Status" you can see how the register value is set.

    4) capture and save the readable data (BIN file is not readable):

    Here is the TSW1400 GUI shown.

    After you ran TSW1400 to capture the LVDS data from AFE5808 EVM,

    you can download all the captured raw data to a readable file CSV format onto your computer.

    Please look at the following selection.
