ADS4225: Startup configuration

Part Number: ADS4225

Dear Team,

Can you please check the customer question below regarding ADS4225 configuration during power up. ?

According to datasheet if i want to configure device serial/parallel i need to use reset line and ctrl, sen lines.

What is the configuration if on power up i am with ctrl1,ctrl2,ctrl3 = high and reset high for 1 sec and after that ctrl1,2,3 = low and reset is equal to low.

what configuration the ADS4225 will be in?

Best Regards,

Nir

  • Nir,

CTRL lines work independent to state of RESET or SPI pins. A 111 state on CTRL lines will put the device in mux mode of operation.

CTRL pins immediately enforce the functionality entrusted on them. Once they send CTRL low, the part will switch to normal mode.

The RESET pin’s state control the functionality of SPI pins. If RESET pin is low, the SPI pins function as serial interface pins.

If RESET pin is pulled high (for > 1us) the SPI pins start functioning as parallel pins with functions given in table 4.

    Regards,

    Jim
