ADS1299: Problem setting the Bias Control Registers with the ADS1299ECG-FE Evaluation software

Part Number: ADS1299

Hello,

I want to test the feedback loop using the  ADS1299 evaluation board and the BIAS Control Registers

When I press both polarity,

Only 1 register is updated...

It's like if there is no control on the BIASSENSN register.

The only way I found is to activatge them all, but it's no what I want.

I there a fix or a workaround ?

Thank you

Stephane

  • Hi Stephane,

Thanks for pointing this out. It may in fact be a bug in the software.

If you have clicked the toggle buttons for the individual BIAS_SENSx bits and you don't see the settings reflected in the register map table, try saving the register settings to a text file. There should be a menu option to do this at the top of the GUI screen. Check whether the settings show the same values.

If both the saved text file and the GUI register map table show the same results, and the bits you want to set read as "0", this may indicate that the registers are not being written correctly. I'll try to replicate the same issue here.

    Best Regards,
    Ryan
  • Hello,

    Actually,

I saved the configuration file and saw that the register bit wasn't set.

I manually edited the .CFG file and reloaded it.

    It seems to work now.

    Thanks !

  • Thanks, Stephane! I'm glad to hear that works.

    Regards,
