Hello,

I design my own PCB refering to Tidu875 , but I want to Know the exact distance between the 3 electrodes and their emplacement on the chestto monitor ECG.

Hello Amel,

Thank you for your post and welcome to our forum!

The ECG electrodes were placed about 3.32 inches apart (center to center) in this TI Design. Please note that this is a reference design only and we are not the medical experts. The final electrode placement and signal quality criteria are up to you.

For your reference, all of the hardware design files are available on the product page for TIDU875.

Thank you for response

Actuallly I use ADS1292R with MSP430 in my design , we test our PCB for ECG monitoring at rest and in motion,

ECG motion signal is noisy.

Is there any influence of muscular contraction on ecg signal?

Hi Amel,

Yes, mortion artifacts are a very common design challenge in ECG applications. You will have to research how to best handle them in your application, whether in hardware or in software. Motion artifact removal is beyond the scope of this forum.
