Hi,

we are using 8 channel ADC = ADS5294 EVM along with ADC-to-FMC adapter to interface with KC705 board

The FMC connector voltage should be same at both the end but the KC705 FMC connector is set to 2.5 V

To interface with ADS5294 what voltage should be set in FMC connector of KC705 board ?

should it be 3.3v or 1.8 V ?

Thanks for using ADS5294EVM.
We are using TSW1400EVM to capture ADS5294EVM's output data for testing.
(please look at the TI website ADS5294's user's guide.)
and not using FMC connector.
I will try to contact other engineer and reply to you in two days.

Here is the TSW1400EVM schematics which we are using for testing ADS5294EVM.

Please take a look at its FPGA portion.

You can see its interface with ADS5294.

hi chen,

i have gone through the schematic of TSW1400EVM and the LVDS pins are connected to 2.5 V bank

so we have to connect the FMC connectors pins of FPGA = KC705 to 2.5 V.

is it right ?

Hi Prateek,

Sorry our ultrasound EVMs are not using FMC connector.
Please check on the FPGA on the FMC to make sure
it can support 2.5V bank to be the safe case.
