Sir,

I have started work on ADS1298 Ic with details studies of it's data sheet for EMG measurment and also made its circuit withhelp of data sheet. Now i want to interface this IC with Aurduio Uno. I have seen lot of code on internet for iterfacing of ADs 1298 with aurduio uno. So i little bit confused to choose one code for EMG measurment. Could you suggest me link of appropriate code. sothat i can work with easy way for my application.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum!

The only code that I can recommend is the code on the ADS1298ECGFE-PDK product page. Located here: www.ti.com/.../ADS1298ECGFE-PDK

Keep in mind that code is provided “as-is” and modifications/changes are not supported. Also note that this software is optimized for our evaluation platforms and therefore may not be well suited to end-equipment applications.

There is a red button that says "Download" next to a description that says "Firmware Source for ADS1298 Performance Demonstration Kit".

Sir,

I have been go through of this software but little bit confused about usages of this software.

1. how i used this software with arduino uno board and how get output on serial monitor of arduino uno.

2. how this software also interface with ADS1298 ckt.

Hi Anurag,

Apologies, but I highlighted the wrong download in my previous post. I have corrected the post above to reflect this.

The software source can be used as an example for interfacing with your arduino uno board - it will not be directly compatible without modification, and keep in mind that code is provided “as-is” and modifications/changes are not supported. Also note that this software is optimized for our evaluation platforms and therefore may not be well suited to end-equipment applications.

With your metioned link, this software not opening after instaling it as attached image. There is also no shortcut generate after install. Furthermore, How i will check my ADS1298 Ic ckt is woking or nor before going to interface ihis with arduino uno.

Hi Anurag,

You are correct and I am so sorry - I'm not sure why the code is under the firmware download, but it is.

You can download the firmware for yourself, but I went ahead and zipped the c files and attached them to this post.

Additionally, there is a CCS (code composer studio) project that I found for the ADS1298 located at this link:

These projects may not be as useful as the other Arduino projects you've found since they interface with the MMB0 board that the EVM comes with - not an Arduino.
