  • Hi Kiran,

We have not encountered this issue previously. I am checking with my software team regarding this error.

Can you please let me know the following:
    1. Did you run the GUI installer in administrator mode?
    2. Are you running the GUI in administrator mode?
    3. What is the OS of your PC?
    4. Did you change the default installation directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\HMC-DAQ GUI"?
    5. If possible, can you install and check the GUI on a different PC?
  • Update:

This issue occurs if any dll or any other files are missing from the installed location.

Can you also please check if any of the files are missing from the below image.

Note that Antivirus might have blocked and removed the dll.

  • Hello Kiran,

Please check if the .Net Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and .NET 3.0) is installed on your laptop.

You can check this out from the Windows features. From the Control Panel, select 'Programs and Features' and then choose 'Turn Windows features on or off'.

If the '.Net Framework 3.5' option is not selected, select the option as shown in the figure below. This option requires an Internet connection. You do not need to select the child items. Continue to download and install this feature. Let me know if this fixes the issue.
