ADS1299: Channel to channel offset problem

Part Number: ADS1299

Hi,

I'm taewoong Park,

I have some problems with ADS1299, that is channel to channel offset problem, like below signal.

I want to see the same offset signal. Is there a any solution for me?

Best,

  • Hello Taewoong,

    Thank you for your post!

We will need more information to undestand how you made this measurement. Can you explain how the inputs are configured?

Typically, offset is measured by shorting two channel inputs together and tying them to a common-mode voltage. You can try setting the channels to use the internal input short configuration first for comparison. This will tell you the offset voltage of the ADC channel only.

Next you should short the input signal connections together externally. This will tell you how much additional offset is introduced by the signal chain.

Finally, what are the y-axis units? If this data is already converted to "volts", that is a very large range from 0V to -200 mV. There must be something else going on there.

    Best regards,
